When it comes to travelling Argentina currently offers one of the best price-performance ratios in the world. It has been steadily recovering from its currency collapse in 2001 and is still amazingly inexpensive to visitors from overseas. Hotel rooms are often only half the price of what you would pay in Europe, and steak dinners are usually not more than 25 USD. While a night at the Four Seasons in Milan or London costs about 975 USD, it is only 425 USD in Buenos Aires.
