Meeting Germans in Auckland

If you are German and would like to meet other Germans in Auckland to talk about experiences, get useful tips or if you just feel like speaking your native language from time to time, have a look at these websites:

If you sign up with "Xing" you can become a member of the "Germans in Auckland Group". They meet once a month, often at the German restaurant in Mission Bay called "Der Metz".
When I moved to Auckland and didn't know anyone I found it quite helpful to look at these websites and see that I'm not the only "alien" at the other side of the world trying to make friends.
