Rent a classic Kiwi bach
Experience an authentic kiwi beach bach holiday this summer on one of Auckland’s regional parks as the Auckland Regional Council (ARC) makes some of its beachfront baches available for rent for the first time (starting Dec 2007).
Six restored traditional beachside baches become available for public bookings this month, providing an affordable and unique opportunity for Aucklanders to unwind, year round, in a beautiful coastal or park location.
My favourite: Scandrett Park, 10 min. off Warkworth (1 hr. north of Auckland on highway 1)
