Hamburg is green
As much as 40% of the city area is green. Particularly the outskirts of the city offer extensive forests, moor and heath areas.
Stadtpark, Jenischpark, Volkspark and Niendorfer Gehege do all cover more than 100 hectares.
Of course the Ohlsdorf Cemetery, the world´s largest par cemetery, is also very green.
