Activities for expat women

At some point cocktail parties, Ikebana courses, coffee parties and window shopping start to get boring.
See which ideas managers' wives have come up with to not become depressive in Berlin, Dubai, Milan or Bangalore:

- Someone started a jazz group
- A group of foreign assignment spouses started a craft club and donated their work to local children’s hospitals and charities
- An American lady founded a reading group to talk about literature
- A group set up a babysitting club.
- Another spouse started an international cooking club
- A group organized a “Used Book Club”
- A group of spouses organized their own regulars’ table to meet once a month
- One spouse began dancing and met lots of friends there

You might find other inspirational ideas and interesting activities by checking the local newspapers, city homepage etc.
